More Water Work

More Water Work

Weather permitting, the Village will be doing work on Thursday 6/25/26 in the vicinity of South Main and W Depot Streets.  Water will be shut off starting at 9:00 am for a period of time, but we cannot say at this point exactly how long the water will be off.  The addresses affected will start at Booster Hall and include the 2 homes to the south of Booster Hall on the east side of the street and will start at Huebers and include the home to the south of Huebers on the west side of the street.  The home at the corner of Main and South streets on the west side of the street may also be affected and the home on Depot St to the east of Booster Hall on the south side of the street may also be affected.  As with the other shut offs, a boil order will be in effect until further notice. You should boil any water you would use for drinking or cooking, brushing your teeth, making ice, preparing baby formula, washing fruits and vegetables or watering a vegetable garden.  Bring water to a full, rolling boil and leave it there for at least a minute, or longer if you feel that is safer.  Let it cool completely before using. Once water is restored, 2 water samples will need to be taken 24 hours apart and both samples need to come back "clean" before the boil order is lifted.  We will post additional notices when the boil order is lifted.  We suggest stocking up on bottled water if possible. As always, we will post updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience. It is greatly appreciated.
